Lisa and Don, the desk clerks, were amazing. Friendly, fun to converse with and knowledgeable about the local community. Read about the motel in a book, looked it up on the internet and we planned an overnight motorcycle trip. Good stay at the Munger Moss.

I am so thankful for the hospitality that has been given while I stayed at the Munger Moss. The staff is down to earth with that good ole' southern hospitality attitude. However, do not mistake their kindness if your caught doing something wrong you'll know.

I would definitely stay there again. I send prayer of good will to everyone who has had the opportunity to experience this icon!

Ramona is a Grandma to everyone who stayed at Munger Moss. She was more than kind to our children. Loving and quick with gifts. We had fun bowling and finding the laundromat. She was still mourning the passing of her Husband at the time of our stay. Bob's suffering had ended a week before. You could tell how much they loved each other. Her stories of her Family, and her collection of great items that surrounds the lobby. I am so happy to have met Ramona, she left the neon on for my Daughter ♥️?♥️. I remember staying at Munger Moss Motel as my parents traveled to Texas to visit my aunt and uncle. It was whete we stayd on the way down from NW Indiana and the way back home. Great memories of family vacations.

On June 3rd, 1967 my wife and I were married in Tulsa OK. Five days later we drove back to Greenville, I’ll. Where we attended Greenville College. When we hit Lebanon MO we saw all these signs of motels selling rooms cheap because the military bases on the area were appealing to families of drafted soldiers being deployed from that area to Viet Nam. We stopped at the Monger Moss motel for the night. The rooms were stark with black and white tile floors

The mattress creaked as we lay down on the sagging mattress. The hostess and owner was not like Ramona whose ownership about 8 years later improved tge motel.

What a thrill it was to see the motel sign and the building. My wife and I are grateful to see your website and the pictures that evoked nostalgia. Our 55 years of marriage that we celebrate next week bears witness to God’s faithfulness to us over these 55 years. He is an awesome God.

My Route 66 travel pals and I stayed as Ramona’s guests in early fall 2021. It was terrific. The accommodations were wonderful. Most noteworthy above all else was spending time with the special, kind and generous-in-spirit innkeeper, Ramona Lehman. A must-stop indeed.

My parents and I stayed here for a couple months back in the early 70s. My dad was transferring to a boat company from Muncie Indiana. My father passed away back in 2000 and I came out here to visit his grave. The owner remembered me and put me up here for two days for free. That’s some thing I will never forget.

Stayed in room number 66. Ramona was awesome it was a perfect weekend for us to travel. August 2020. In the height of Covid everything was available to us it was a perfect route 66 tour. I love this place

This place is what is left of the original 66 adventure. Ramona is fabulous. A gem.

Meeting Ramona in August of 2021 and staying at her place right on 66 was like a trip home. It was as expected, clean, quiet, affordable comfortable and homey. Where else can you go up to the office and get a hug from the owner?
