The first Christians claimed to see Jesus in the flesh three days after he was buried in the tomb. And this appearance became the very foundation of the Christian religion. But is this reasonable to believe? Did Jesus really rise from the dead? Some skeptics say the resurrection was a cleverly devised plot to start a new religion. Others argue the disciples of Jesus hallucinated, or simply had an interior vision of the dead Jesus. Still others say the resurrection story is a myth that’s rip-offed from either Jewish or pagan beliefs. In this course, Karlo carefully weighs the evidence for and against the resurrection of Jesus with in-depth analysis. In the end, he shows why the Christian story of the resurrection of Jesus justifies Paul’s statement, “O death where is thy sting” (1 Cor. 15:55).
