Bee Hotels

Celebrate Laumeier’s Earth Day Week by visiting the Park with a family member and getting creative! Spend time with a family member learning how to build a bee hotel that can be filled with hallow tubes, nesting blocks and natural materials that will keep solitary bees warm during the winter months. Learn how to care for your bee hotel and the reasons why it is important to care for our pollinators.

WALKING TOUR / Spring Tree Tour:
Know Your Buds!

Celebrate Earth Day by visiting the Park and its trees! Tour the Park’s Central Pathway with local arborist, Michael Garrett. Learn about the variety of tree species and their roles in the Park’s ecosystem. End the tour by visiting Hugh Hayden’s newest installation, “American Vernacular”, on view near Alexander Lieberman’s “The Way”, 1972-80).

FULL MOON FLOW with CITRA fitness & movement

Get in the Flow at Laumeier! Join Citra Fitness & Movement for a 90-minute evening yoga practice in the midst of art and nature. Expand your mind-body connection as you purge stagnant energies and thought patterns with bright Full Moon energy. This is an open level class and all are welcome. Please bring your personal mat. Registration fee supports Citra Fitness and Laumeier Sculpture Park.
